Emmaus House is based on Lk 24:13-35 where we the disciples meet Jesus on the journey of our lives, open and willing to be present as the Spirit breaks forth the call in our hearts to the intimate love of God spilling out in hospitality to our neighbor.
Emmaus House is a House of Prayer and Hospitality established as a private association of the Christian faithful subject to the guidance of the Bishop of the Diocese of Great Falls/Billings and in accordance with the Benedictine tradition.
Emmaus House was established on April 7, 2008 to evangelize the people of Eastern Montana with the Good News of the Gospels and in the spirit of St. Benedict. As disciples of Jesus, the members dedicate their lives to prayer, simplicity, and ministry.
In breaking open the Word, the stranger will feel welcomed in the spirituality of Emmaus House
